When Mrs. Grout, the women-led grout and tile restoration company based in Brooksville, FL, reached out for a full day of commercial branding photography, the timing couldn’t have been better. Founder Lisa Council is expanding Mrs. Grout into a franchise model, with a second location opening soon in Ocala. That kind of growth calls for brand imagery that can carry the company’s story across a brand-new website, franchise marketing materials, and every location to come.
As a commercial branding photographer based in Brooksville and serving the greater Tampa Bay area, I love projects like this one — where the goal isn’t just “get some new photos,” but building a full library of on-brand imagery that supports a business through its next chapter.
Before the shoot, we talked through exactly what Mrs. Grout needed as they prepare to franchise: images that show the heart of the business (the team, the process, the people behind the brand), images that work for a brand-new website, and content polished enough to represent the company to future franchise owners and corporate partners. That meant building out a full day across multiple locations, with both photography and videography on the list.

Location one: The Mrs. Grout office in Brooksville. We started at headquarters, capturing the office space itself along with professional headshots, group team photos, and candid shots of Lisa leading her team. These behind-the-scenes, in-action images are exactly what a growing franchise needs — they show real culture and real leadership, not just posed photos.
Location two: Anderson Snow Park. Next, we headed out to photograph the Mrs. Grout fleet, known for its instantly recognizable design featuring a purple scrub brush on top of each vehicle. We brought in a drone for this part of the shoot, capturing sweeping wide shots of the fleet along with aerial video content — perfect for a franchise brand that wants to show scale and professionalism from every angle.
Location three: An employee’s home. We wrapped the day with lifestyle, storytelling images at a residential location, showing the full customer experience from start to finish. This included drone and video content following a sales agent walking up to a “client’s” door and moving through the meeting process — giving Mrs. Grout authentic, story-driven footage of what working with their team actually looks like, which is incredibly valuable content for both marketing and franchise training purposes.

When a business is expanding into new markets, consistent, professional visual branding becomes even more important. Corporate imagery, team headshots, and fleet and location photography all need to work together to tell one cohesive brand story — whether a customer finds Mrs. Grout in Brooksville or, soon, in Ocala. A strong library of commercial branding photos and video also gives a business the flexibility to support a new website launch, franchise recruitment materials, social media, and corporate event coverage, all from a single, strategic shoot.
